Voting / Scores / Rankings / Status / Hall of Fame

Best Rank = Best Art?

We are aware that the best rankings not necessarily correspond to the quality of the artwork or virtuosity of the artists. In this regard Arteddy works like real life. On the one hand art is a matter of taste and taste is determined by the audience. On the other hand artists who know how to market and to use their network effective have a better chance to get noticed. The question is, how does the fact affect, that most visitors on Arteddy are common people (like the founders) rather than members of the art scene? Experience the eddy!

How often do we update scores and rankings?

Scores and rankings get updated every 10 minutes. Note the countdown on the top of the right column.

What is the Photo Rank?

Every single photo has a photo rank. The ranking depends on the feedback on your artwork (photo). The more votes, favorites, views and shares your artwork gets from the audience, the better is the rank of the photo. Each photo has a “Creative Field Rank” within the selected field and a “Global Rank” within all Arteddy artwork. The specific formula is our secret. But be sure, quality pays! Beside this, it can be extremely helpful to invite friends to vote on your artwork and to share your photos on social media like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter.

What is Score and Artist Rank?

Every Artist has a “Score” and an “Artist Rank”. Score and rank depend on the quality and the cumulated ranking of the artist’s photos. The more votes, favorites, views and shares your artwork gets from the audience, the better is your score and rank. No photos, no score, no rank, no artist. We categorize organizations as a separate section, that’s why they have no “Artist Rank”, but they do have a “Score”.

What is Artist Status and Artist Level?

Every artist has one of ten possible “Artist Status” and “Artist Levels”. From “Noob” on Level 1/10 up to “Optimus***” on Level 10/10. Each “Status” has its label and each “Level” has a different profile color. Status and Level depend on your “Artist Rank”. The more votes, favorites, views and shares your artwork gets from the audience, the higher is your “Artist Status” and “Level”. No photos, no status, no level, no artist. We categorize organizations as a separate section, that’s why they have no “Artist Status” and no “Artist Level”.

How can I increase Score, Rank, Level and Status?

The more votes, favorites, views and shares your artwork gets from the audience, the better is your “Score, Rank, Level” and “Status”. The best condition to make the way up is creativity and quality. Beside this, it can be extremely helpful to invite friends to vote on your artwork and to share your photos on social media like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter.
